Yr 8 pupils are cleaning up the courtyard !!

Year 8 requested in their class council meeting that they would like a nicer environment in school to sit and have their lunch. So with the help of Mrs Byrne they have been cleaning up the courtyard area in the cold and rain.

They have been getting green fingers planting shrubs and flowers which is also helping with the "plant a daff" day to help to raise money for the Marie Curie nurses.

So next time you are in the courtyard have a look at the work that has been done.
