Mr Fox - Richmond Pop Art Portraits

Richmond staff liaised with Grange staff with the view of creating a permanent piece of artwork above their hatch in the school canteen. We Initially visited Richmond to photograph pupils which were then manipulated in Photoshop software prior to workshops beginning. After February half-term Year 4 pupils visited Grange and these continued throughout the Spring and Summer Term.

Feedback about the work has been extremely positive from staff and pupils involved. Pupils have learnt how to use acrylic paint to paint their own portraits in a Pop Art style.

This project is continuing into the Autumn Term were pupils will now paint portraits of staff. The Deadline for this project is February 2010.
